Girnar Software Grabs Funding From Google Capital

Girnar Software that owns auto portals like,,,, and has received investment  from Google Capital, along with participation from existing investor Hillhouse Capital.

Google Capital has joined the league of Times Internet, Sequoia Capital, Hillhouse, Tybourne, Ratan Tata, and HDFC Bank as an investor in the company.

With the new round of funding, Girnar plans to further bolster its technology, R&D and expansion within and outside India. The company had launched its services in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, and Indonesia, with the launch of It plans to consolidate its presence in emerging economies in Asia and the Middle East, apart from India.

Prior to this, in 2015, Girnar had received funding from Times Internet. Also, in September 2015, CarDekho had acquired Times Internet owned auto portal Zigwheels.
