App To Lodge Complaints in Indian Railways

Minister of Railways, Suresh Prabhu launched a Web portal and mobile application for passengers to lodge complaints against problems faced in utilising Indian Railways services. Passengers can lodge the complaints using the Website and App which is available on Android and Windows platforms. The most interesting thing about the app is that one doesn’t need to sign up for using it, just download the app and lodge the complaint.

Indian Govt Launches Upgraded Version Of Mygov.In

After months of intense work, the government has launched a newer version of crowdsourcing platform Mygov.in with features such as hashtags, polls, interactive discussion forums and social media account integration. The new, sleeker version will make extensive use of analytics and data mining tools. It is easier to navigate and shows real time data about registered users, task submissions and number of comments across different discussion themes on the landing page.

Teewe Launches Plug-In Feature For Chrome

Mango Man Consumer Electronics has added a new plug-in feature to its Video Streaming Dongle, Teewe. The feature designed specifically for the Chrome Web Browser allows users to stream video content directly from the browser onto their TV screens. Existing and prospective users of Teewe need to install the Teewe plug-in on the Chrome browser and install the Teewe Web App.

IRCTC Ties Up With Amazon To Capture Indian Ecommerce Market

IRCTC has tied up with Amazon.in to foray into ecommerce to run the co-branded ecommerce marketplace. With this deal, the customers can now be accorded seamless online shopping opportunities in addition to booking travel tickets and hotel accommodations. The partnership follows in the backdrop of the ecommerce portal it had launched with fashion etailer Yebhi in 2013.
