Ecommerce Marketing Startup Betaout Selected As Top-24 Finalist in Pioneers Asia

Betaout, an ecommerce marketing software startup, has been selected as top-24 challenge finalist and invited to showcase its technology at the annual Nikkei Pioneers Asia 250 in Tokyo, on March 22nd & 23rd. Betaout is the only Indian startup to be in the top-24 challenge finalists.

Noida-based Betaout was founded in October 2014, by Ankit Maheshwari, Raghubir Thakur, Mayank Dhingra, Arjun Maheshwari and Nandini Rathi. It enables ecommerce businesses to increase conversions and personalise user engagement using real-time user persona and intent data.

Betaout is an all-in-one marketing personalisation and engagement platform that builds comprehensive user intelligence database and gives tools to engage with users through email, on-site engagement and live-chat, sms and other channels.

The Pioneers Asia 250 is an annual selection of the 250 most promising tech startups in Asia and from around the world. Startup founders will compete with each other to win the coveted Pioneers Asia Cup which will guarantee them a sizable amount of funding, counsel of the world’s top VC’s and a chance to showcase their startups to media, VC firms and seasoned entrepreneurs from around the world. Financial newspaper Nikkei is the chief organiser of this event.

According to the fourth edition of Grant Thornton’s The Fourth Wheel 2016 report, 2015 witnessed tremendous year-on- year growth in venture capital and private equity saw $16 Bn invested in 1,049 investments lead mostly by Indian startups.

Earlier in August 2015, Betaout raised $500K in seed funding from some of the top Indian and US investors, like Kunal Bahl (CEO & co-founder, Snapdeal), Vijay Shekhar Sharma (CEO & founder, Paytm), Anupam Mittal (CEO & founder, Shaadi.com), Ashish Kashyap (CEO Ibibo Group), Girish Mathrubootham (CEO Freshdesk), Phanindra Sama (founder Redbus), Pallav Nadhani (founder Fusion Charts) and others. Prior to this in July 2015, Betaout, was selected for, TechStars Chicago 2015, a US based accelerator program.
