Online marketplace Snapdeal has acquired Noida based Wishpicker.com, an online platform that offers users gift options based on intelligent recommendations.
The financial terms of the deal has been left undisclosed for now.
This acquisition will enable Snapdeal to further personalise user experience and also drive conversions through intelligent recommendations.

Founded in 2013 by IIT Delhi graduates Apurv Bansal and Prateek Rathore, Wishpicker makes it simple for users to find a gift for their loved ones and friends, the recommendations are based on the relationship of the user with the recipient, their personality, the occasion, and other parameters. Users can also find gift suggestions based on Facebook likes and interests of recipient.
Earlier this year, Snapdeal had acquired fashion products discovery platform Doozton for an undisclosed amount.
