Meet The 11 Startups That Are Part Of GSF Global Accelerator Program

GSF India’s Global Accelerator Program has shortlisted 11 startups, selected from the pool of more than 500 applications from across the world.

This is GSF’s first batch under its cross-border accelerator program, which was launched in earlier this year.

“The selected startups have diverse business models and target markets. However, the common factor between all the startups selected for GSF Global Program is their vision to go global,” said Rajesh Sawhney, founder of GSF.

The batch includes 8 Startups from India and 3 from rest of the globe. Let’s Have a quick look at the selected startups:

TripMD: It connects patients to trusted healthcare worldwide.

Greymeter: It is an interactive talent community where organizations  crowd-source real world challenges.

GuideTrip: A global content-driven online platform, which helps in connecting travellers with guides.

GigStart: A marketplace that connect entertainers with party planners.

pxify: Building a free graphic design programme, which integrates collaboration features so that design teams and clients can work alongside one another.

WhatFix: A SaaS-based customer engagement platform that helps business on board their customers and provides interactive knowledge flows.

WizenWorld: A gaming startup that teaches math & science concepts to middle-school students.

Daily Rounds: A mobile app learning platform for doctors to review clinical patient case studies.

Cuztomise: Helps field service businesses to reduce their operational costs by its workforce scheduling and optimization, through its app.

AirStream: Enables accessing files & streaming media from multiple computers and multiple cloud services through a single app on any mobile device.

Hashtago: Develops core technology for hashtags mining, tracking, targeting and analytics for B2B solutions and customer-oriented services.

GSF India’s Global Accelerator Program had began on the 2nd of June 2014. The global accelerator program will connect entrepreneurs to peers, mentors, advisors and investors in India, Singapore, SF, NY, Boston and Toronto.

During the program, Startups will go through an intense mentoring and coaching program starting with 5 weeks in India, followed by 4 weeks in SF, 2 weeks in NY, 1 week in Toronto and finally a week in Singapore.

The 13-weeks GSF Global Accelerator Program, will provide the startup teams an opportunity to immerse themselves in global startup ecosystems by working and interacting with some of the brightest digital minds from across the world. The startups will be mentored by a diverse group of successful entrepreneurs, industry experts.

GSF ecosystem consists of 25 portfolio companies; 43 Entrepreneurs-in-Residence, 250 mentors across the world and is backed by a group of 25 Superangels.  15 out of 25 companies in GSF portfolio have successfully raised seed financing, 5 have raised Series-A funding and 3 companies have had exits. Earlier this year, one of GSF’s portfolio company Little Eye Labs was acquired by Facebook, which is reportedly said to be a deal between $10 – $15Mn.
