Germany based customer services software provider B2X Care Solutions, which manages repairs for many of the world’s biggest phone makers has acquired Mumbai based Customer-Care Solutions provider for smartphones, The Service Solutions Pvt Ltd (TSS) just after raising $ 15 Mn funding round, as it plans to boost its global footprints.
TSS was founded in 2009 with focus on providing innovative, yet simplified solutions to its client’s most complex business problems across products, processes and practices. It is an authorized provider of phone repairs for Apple iPhones in India and customer care services provider for a variety of phone makers globally. Its other customers include Samsung Electronics, Micromax, D-Link and HCL Infosystems.
B2X was founded in 2007 and is the leading provider of customer care solutions for electronic devices to manufacturers, insurance providers, mobile network operators and retailers globally. It serves over customers in more than 110 countries.
The amount of the deal has been left undisclosed as of now, but as per TechCrunch the deal is under $ 45 Mn and B2X will rebrand TSS service stores under its own brand. It also plans to use the existing TSS store concept to create retail and service outlets for multiple phone brands in a single shop.
“We couldn’t be happier to announce our funding and acquisition of TSS at the same time. The financing will help us to aggressively grow our engineering and sales efforts in response to the expanding demand for our Smart Service Platform,” said Thomas Berlemann, CEO of B2X Care Solutions. “For us to be successful in India, we know that it will require very strong local capabilities. TSS is a rising star in India and their cloud based capabilities completes the B2X technology roadmap. In addition, the TSS leadership team has a strong background and is extremely well connected in our industry in India, which opens up great opportunities for future growth.”
