Hyderabad-based NumberMall, a payment gateway platform has acquired Delhi-based analytics firm, BankSmarts Solutions for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition is expected to enhance NumberMall’s analytics capabilities, customer reach and merchant offers. According to the company, it also expects to launch new classes of products and services in assisted ecommerce, matching a customer’s needs.
“With this acquisition, we are adding the unparalleled analytics capabilities of BankSmarts to NumberMall’s competencies,” said Kiran Gali, founder and CEO of NumberMall.
Founded in 2012 by Kiran Gali, Numbermall, is an online payment gateway which connects merchants to their customers. While customers use the NumberMall wallet for recharges, payments and tickets for their customers, a merchant can offer the customers their own deals via the app and in effect increase the no. of customer walk-ins.
As of now, NumberMall has provided its service to more than 30 Mn+ customers through 16000 touch points. In 2014, the startup had raised an undisclosed amount from SRI Capital.
Founded in 2013 by Subinder Khurana, BankSmarts Solutions, helps marketers reach the right customers for their products and services by providing a 360-degree customer map. It uses several metrics like customer preferences, purchase propensity and responsiveness to promotions and offers, based on a customer’s profile to create its analytics. It’s technology platform includes proprietary intellectual property and leverage predictive analysis and machine learning.
