About Siddharth Talwar
Siddharth or Sid as people call him is an entrepreneur at heart. He founded Evolv, a vocational training company funded by Singapore Technologies. Over six years he built it into a business that trained 20,000+ people annually across 200 cities in South Asia and the Middle East. He sold it to NIIT in 2007 but continued to lead the internal teams in adopting new technologies.
Sid left NIIT in 2011 and took advisory roles with various startups and angel funds before starting Lightbox Ventures.
Lightbox has a fund corpus of $232 Mn and has invested in notable startups like Faasos, Droom, Cleartrip, Furlenco, InMobi, MapMyIndia among others. And it has also seen one huge exit with the edtech startup Embibe.
