Launched in 2017, the state government's iStart programme has been pivotal in supporting startups by providing funding, mentorship, and infrastructure. To date, the iStart initiative led by the state government has generated over 29,000 jobs within the state and has successfully onboarded more than 3,900 startups. While Jaipur houses 53% of Rajasthan's startups, other cities are also experiencing growth, thanks to the iStart incubation programme. Besides, VC funding in Rajasthan has also witnessed a remarkable increase, growing at a 46% CAGR since 2018. Startups based in Rajasthan have secured over $307 Mn in funding from prominent global and local investors.
