Software solutions provider Zybo Tracking Solutions has received foreign equity investment from Grasshoppers, a Netherlands-based company. The amount of investment is undisclosed.
The funding will be used to develop and market Trackbizz, their app. The app claims to be a cost-effective field force automation system, enabling managers to track their field force and manage their field activities on real time.
Headquartered in Kochi, the company was founded in April 2014 by Sunil Johny. Incubated in KSIDC’s (Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation) business incubation centre, Zybo Tracking Solutions Pvt. Ltd is an enterprise software development company that provides software solutions for field force management system across multiple industries.
M Beena, Managing Director, KSIDC, said the corporation has sanctioned $938K(INR 6.23 Cr) as seed fund assistance to 31 innovative startups in the state and another 11 proposals are in the pipeline. Currently, 15 startup companies with 106 seats are incubated in the Business Incubation Centre at Infopark.
The app focusses on Indian SMEs and allows for the users to access advantages of mobility and cloud technologies at the cost of INR 399 per user per month. The app will also help users with remote attendance, location tracking, expense tracking, task management, order notes, lead lists, work reports and other business related information.
KSIDC has launched its second incubation centre named Startup Zone at Inkel Tower II, Angamaly. There are plans to open a third incubator at UL Cyberpark at Kozhikode, M Beena said. The company is also assisting various colleges to set up incubation centres in their campuses to promote the entrepreneurial culture among the students, she added.
Trackbizz is currently available on Android.
In August 2016, VST Travels, a startup incubated in KSIDC received funding from Dubai-based Promatus Group. Earlier in July 2016, Bangalore-based ecommerce startup 10i Commerce Services had raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani. 10i Commerce Services provides technology, logistics, sophistication and supply to traditional small retailers in India.
