Pune-based technology and analytics startup, ProximiT has raised about $150K (INR 1 Cr.) in an early stage funding via 1Crowd, a crowd funding platform.
Founded in 2014 by Abhay Bora and Kamlesh Sancheti, ProximiT is a platform that provides brand-customer engagement experience.
With touch-based interfaces (tablets) placed in auto-rickshaws, the startup have created a platform to make client engagement fun, educative, interactive and rewarding.
ProximiT’s uniqueness lies in its ability to capitalize on the undivided and focused attention of passengers – creating a medium flexible to accommodate targeted advertising, interaction and gamification.
The raised capital will be used to expand ProximiT’s footprint in Pune and other cities.
