US- and Indian-based, AI-driven B2B marketing startup MarianaIQ has secured $2 Mn in a Seed financing round from Exfinity Venture Partners.

Launched in 2013 by Abhishek Kashyap, Soumyadeb Mitra, and Venkat Nagaswamy, the company applies artificial intelligence to enhance a user’s B2B marketing. The company aims to help marketers deliver the right content to enhance the sales of their respective products.

Commenting on the investment, V Balakrishnan, Managing Partner, Exfinity VP said, “B2B Marketing is much more complex than B2C marketing. Target audiences for B2B communications are amorphous, made up of groups of constantly changing individuals with different interests and motivations. Mariana’s neural network takes customer purchase data and then codifies individuals using internal, external public and proprietary data sources. Hyper-personalisation enabled by Mariana improves effectiveness of B2B marketing.”

Its flagship products, ProspectIQ and ConversionIQ aid the marketer in identifying potential prospects and further develop it, using omnichannel marketing. As per its website, Mariana’s client base includes Juniper, CrownPeak, and Equinix among others.

Talking about the funding, Venkat Nagaswamy, CEO and co-founder, MarianaIQ said, “MarianaIQ’s AI tool is geared towards automating all steps of the account-based marketing process and providing today’s marketer a flexibility to easily find, select, reach and engage the target client base.”

Earlier in October 2016, Bengaluru-based fintech startup Binge got acquired by California-based marketing firm vMobo at the former’s valuation of $3.5 Mn. Prior to that, in July 2016, digital marketing startup MintM raised funding from Mumbai Angels & Times Internet.
