Prescribez, the soon-to-be-launched healthcare app has raised $145K seed funding from angel investor Ankush Mehta.

Prescribez app slated for launch this month is developed by Pune-based ThingsMeet Solutions. It was founded by Neeraj Joshi, Manish Bandil, Cherag Mehta and Jayant Kaduskar in 2015. Neeraj Joshi, Manish Bandil and Cherag Mehta have previously worked together at Infosys Technologies for more than fifteen years. Jayant Kaduskar is an IIT Bombay alumni and has previously worked in Accenture and Infosys.

A consumer centric health service aggregator, Prescribez makes collaboration between consumers and service providers like doctors, labs and pharmacies and brings them to one platform. It allows users to search and avail health services through the app.

ThingsMeet Solutions is creating multiple technology driven solutions to expand access to healthcare, enhance the quality and improve health outcomes. Prescribez is the first product from ThingsMeet Solutions.

Neeraj Joshi, co-founder and CEO, Prescribez said, “We are looking to aggregate labs and start doctor consultation through Prescribez itself.”

The startup will use the newly raised funding for product development and marketing. The team is also planning to start operations in Mumbai in the next six months.

Prior to this in March 2016, LoveCycles, a comprehensive women’s health tracker app, raised about $741K (INR 5 Cr) from seed-stage investors Prime Venture Partner.
