Bengaluru-based ecommerce portal GoZefo, for second-hand and factory seconds goods run by Zero Effort Technologies Pvt. Ltd has reportedly raised $1.05 Mn (INR 6.9 Cr) in funding led by Helion Venture Partners, according to the filings with the Registrar of Companies (ROC).
Singapore-based early-stage technology venture fund Beenext also participated in the funding round.
The funding round comes 15 months after the company had raised $800K funding from Helion Venture Partners and other investors.
GoZefo was founded in 2015 by Arjit Gupta, Rohit Ramasubramanian, Himesh Joshi and Karan Gupta. It currently operates in Bengaluru, Mysore, Delhi-NCR, and Mumbai. Users can buy and sell second-hand and factory seconds furniture and appliances.
Last month, Mumbai-based furniture and home marketplace Pepperfry raised about $31 Mn (INR 210 Cr) in a fresh round of funding from Goldman Sachs, Bertelsmann India Investments (BII), Norwest Venture Partners (NVP), and Zodius Technology Fund.
Earlier this year Home Craft Online, which owns Mumbai-based home furnishing startup BedBathMore, raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Swedish bank AB Kinnevik Group, Rocket Internet, and others. The company mainly competes with Urban Ladder and FabFurnish. Last month Urban Ladder raised $3 Mn in venture debt from Trifecta Capital.
