Gurgaon-based wellness chain, Gajty, has raised an undisclosed amount in seed round funding from the US-based venture capital firm Purvi Ventures.

The raised capital will be used for expansion in all the metros and Tier-I cities.

Founded in October 2015 by Ashish Kumar and Manoj Kumar, Gajty, is building a branded chain of beauty & wellness outlets across the country.

Ashish Kumar, co-founder of Gajty said, “We collaborate with selected hyperlocal salons, spas and Ayurveda centers that meet our standards. Once the selection is done it takes about 3-4 days to equip and train these partnering outlets as per our standard of service. This helps us to provide uniform quality services across all outlets.”

A person can give last minute as well as advance orders for availing services from these outlets through Gajty’s app. The company also has an Android app for its merchants and sales personnel to facilitate timely and effective operations.

Currently, Gajty has an average order value of INR 800 and processes over 250 orders per day. Since its inception it has processed over 15,000 orders.

Last year in November, Gurgaon-based beauty and wellness services marketplace, Stylofie, raised $250K in its seed round of funding from HongKong-based company Swastika.

Other players in the same domain are Vyomo that recently raised seed funding from Yuvraj Singh’s YouWeCan,  Stayglad that raised an undisclosed amount in angel round of funding from Tracxn Labs and few others.
