Gurgaon-based, a professional services marketplace, EasyFix, has raised an undisclosed amount in its first round of institutional funding from Axilor’s early stage funding program Axilor Ventures.
Axilor Ventures is a business incubator founded by S.D. Shibulal, S. Gopalakrishnan, Prof. Tarun Khanna, Srinath Batni and Ganapathy Venugopal. The investment is made by the individual funds of Axilor’s founders.
Founded in 2011 by Shaifali Agarwal Holani, EasyFix, provides repair and maintenance services for carpentry, electrical work and plumbing at homes and offices. Its core business model operates as a ‘One Call Home Repairs Service’ to resolve household maintenance problems with professional expertise, complete reliability and convenience.
Currently, EasyFix services are available in Delhi-NCR, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Pune. The company has managed to maintain a high satisfaction rate from 550,000 houses that it has serviced since 5 years.
Speaking on the funding, Shaifali, founder of EasyFix said, “We see a huge untapped potential for growth. This also made us realise that raising capital will help us scale up faster and better. Axilor is the right investor to take us through to the next stage of our growth trajectory.”
The raised funds will be used to expand EasyFix’s geographical reach to 15 cities. The company is also planning to invest in growing their on-field professional network from 2,000 to 5,000 strong, and tech-enabling them to improve service delivery time.

- FindYahan, a hyperlocal services marketplace that has a platform which connects skilled individuals and home businesses to their target customers raised its Pre Series A of funding from The Phoenix Fund.
- LocalOye, a mobile marketplace for hiring local service professionals, raised $5 Mn Series A funding from Tiger Global and Lightspeed Venture.
- Gurgaon-based services marketplace, Near.in, had raised about $274K (INR 1.8 Cr.) from a group of investors including Anupam Mittal of Shaadi.com and Manish Vij of SVG Media.
- Bangalore-based professional services marketplace, Qyk, aims at providing a solution to hire local service provider, had raised undisclosed amount of angel funding from investors of Ola, Housing.com and Delhivery founders.
