Gurgaon-based online automobile marketplace, Droom, has tied up with JetSetGo, an online marketplace for private jets and helicopters. With this, Droom marks its foray in aerial vehicle segment.

Under this partnership, Droom will sell as well as lease private planes and choppers. It will also introduce charter and fun rides on private planes and choppers. This will include joyride with family or a corporate getaway across Droom platforms.

Droom eventually plans to extend its fun rides & experiences category to cars and motorcycles.

Ex-Shopclues CEO, Sandeep Aggarwal started Droom in 2014 and had touched sales worth INR 13 Cr by June this year.

With its disruptive mobile-first approach, Droom offers products in 14 different automobile categories. It has over 10000 sellers and more than 6,000 listings on its platform.

Sandeep Aggarwal Founder & CEO of Droom said that by partnering with JetSetGo, Droom plans to leverage the growing spending power of Indian consumers to provide them with need-based private aviation solutions.

With an entry to aerial vehicle segment, Droom plans to avail every opportunity to tap private aviation segments by utilising Jet Set Go’s resources.

Backed by Yuvraj Singh’s YouWeCan Ventures, JetSetGo plans to revolutionize the transportation space with Droom’s disruptive marketplace approach.

Droom secured $16 Mn (INR 100 Cr.) funding two months back to propel its growth in different geographies. Droom, further plans to expand its operations to add 20 automobile and 12 service categories hosting over 50,000 sellers and 200k listings in the next two years.
