Hyperlocal platform ChatOnGo, for vendors has raised $300K funding from Janak Jain and an undisclosed HNI.
ChatOnGo helps vendors to showcase their products, offers, deals, locations etc. to buyers.
With this funding, the company is planning to expand the team, to enhance the product, and also utilise it for sales and marketing.
Talking about the investment, Sagar Nagda, co-founder ChatOnGo said, “Initially we launched it as a hyperlocal platform but had little success, we completely evolved our product & business model in the last quarter and now we are a 100% B2B startup. We are seeing good traction as we are solving real problems of businesses.”
Nimap Infotech has been in IT services since 7 years and has made more than 150 apps. Their founders Sagar Nagda and Priyank Ranka started a new company to launch a product called ChatOnGo.
ChatOnGo is an enterprise communication tool which can help in communication between the employees of the same company or with dealers/distributors/sales force of the companies which are spread across geographies in real-time. It is available on iOS and Android platform. The desktop version is under development. It is based on SaaS model.
In September last year, Gurugram-based online managed marketplace, ShopClues, introduced a new chat feature on its Android app called ShopClues Connect which connects buyers directly with sellers for added information on product, price and availability. In February this year, Bengaluru-based Lookup, a free chat-based local commerce app, has launched its merchant app, Lookup Biz.
