Thanks For Making The Junction 2017 A Grand Success

It’s been just three weeks since the conclusion of The Junction 2017 and we’re already feeling this huge void where it existed! In case you missed it, check out our website for a quick brief.

With The Junction 2017, Inc42 just turned three. We started Inc42 with a singular thought of becoming the new age voice and authority on the Indian tech ecosystem. Since the very beginning, we dreamt of creating a platform where ideas could collide, unimagined conversations could emerge, where deep relations can be formed and, more important, where people could walk into a world full of ideas and create the future. That’s when the idea of The Junction was born, about nine months ago with this one simple thought.

Over the past few months, we’ve spent 1000s of hours planning for it and it finally happened. We ourselves can’t believe how unbelievably awesome it was. And we have all our supporters to thank for it! On Day One, we started out by saying that this conference will become what each of you will make of it; it’s all about you and who you meet and the conversations that ensue from that. That’s the very soul of The Junction!

It’s not a conference, it’s not an unconference – It’s an experience!

And an experience is what we wanted to create! It’s not just about the content or the grandeur or the pitching or parties or exchange of business cards! We wanted to create a platform to bring together incredible people together in a setting designed to enable spontaneous connections and create lasting bonds and intellectually stimulating conversations! We wanted to engineer serendipity!

Being our first conference ever and with a small, 15 people team, we did struggle a bit with a few things. However, we noticed how incredibly supportive all of you were and how you created the magic that carried us through three, fun-filled, frenetic, fruitful days. We haven’t seen that happen anywhere ever before! And, needless to say, we’re incredibly proud of this close-knit community that emerged at The Junction 2017.
