Mumbai based Testbook which is committed to bring one stop personalized learning experience for students globally through its innovative technology and content has raised an undisclosed amount in funding led by Utsav Somani, Angel Investor, Indian Angel Network on online platform LetsVenture.

The round the saw participation of investors who are investment bankers, mobile experts, education professionals and successful entrepreneurs from ecommerce industries with exits under their belt.

Testbook is leveraging technology to make exam preparation more efficient and bridge the gaps which exist in current coaching models by making quality preparation accessible and affordable to all. It is currently providing mock tests for GATE, SBI PO, SBI Clerk and Aptitude preparation.

The startup was launched earlier this year by 6 co-founders from IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi with experience in various fields like teaching, technology, marketing, operations etc. Its founders include Narendra Agrawal, Ashutosh Kumar, Praveen Agrawal, Manoj Munna, Yadvendar Singh and Abhishek Sagar.

“What I liked most about Testbook is the fact that it is being guided by a dedicated team which is moving fast towards their mission of making a mark in the traditional test prep market through their solid online product,” said Utsav Somani, who will be joining as the board member of Testbook.

As per the website the platform has already been used by 53000+ students who have solved 3052000+ questions using it.

Startups that had earlier raised funding on LetsVenture include Tydy, FlipClass, big data startup Frrole, BlueGape, CardBack, OnlineRTI among others.
