Meet The Top 8 Startups From Nasscom 10000 Startups’ #TechMarch2016 Ahmedabad Edition

Nasscom 10000 Startups recently announced TechMarch – an initiative to bring together smart hardware startups driving innovation. It is an eight-city tour to find hardware  innovations.

So far, 300+ applications have been received and 38 startups have already been selected from four cities i.e Bengaluru (14), Hyderabad (7), Cochin (6) and Mumbai (11).

The next stop in the series was Ahmedabad, where Nasscom 10,000 Startups’ team reached on October 5.  Ahmedabad is known for its emerging industrial hardware startups and stakeholders like VentureStudio, echai ventures, CII, CIIE, CEPT University, who are playing a major role to build the ecosystem.

Here Are The Selected Startups From The TechMarch Roadshow In Ahmedabad:

San-Burn: It is the sanitary napkin burner with power saver technology. It is an automatic burner manufactured with high rate of reliability proven through performance. It helps in instant disposal of sanitary napkins in a scientific and hygienic way.

Oizom: Oizom is a hardware IoT startup working in the domain of cleantech. Its air quality monitor, polludrone, can be installed in the existing infrastructure. It gives real-time air quality data through which air quality modelling and predictions can be made. Through a dense network of Polludrones, it aims to make the environment predictable.

Smart Logic-Crear: Crear is a compact size CPU having very powerful hardware architecture with the linux base. The team created their own OS crear 1.0 and the second one is crear TV OS that can connect directly with the user’s LED/LCD screen.

Aerobotics7: Aerobotics7 deals mainly in drones UAVs, robotics, IT and smart solutions. They have developed a drone that can detect land mines and track the location in the real time and send it through IoT ground station telemetry.

Alghari Ventures: Alghari Ventures has developed a series of products to fight pollution related health problems. The team is focusing on two most important need of any living being on the planet: Air and Water. They also use IoT and AI technology to make their products smart in a way that not only makes it easy to use but also provides them the data that can help do a lot of critical analysis in the future.

Indium Design: Indium Design builds eco-friendly electric bicycle for the Indian market. Focused on manufacturing stylish, high end and affordable electric bikes, the system offered by Indium Design, harnesses the innovation in the field of automotive, battery technologies and IoT.

Radiant Tech Photocity: The startup is working on free energy device and offering solutions to the energy businesses and providing wireless electricity solutions.

Torch It: It has build a solution for visually impaired people to navigate and analyze their surroundings. Torch-It has developed a hand-held device with two distance sensors at one end and a vibrating coin and buzzer, whose vibration and buzz sound varies with distance measured by the sensors.

Next stop is NCR (October 8), and then TechMarch team will move to – Coimbatore (October 15) and Kolkata (October 18). The finale will be held on October 26, 2016 on the sidelines of National Product Conclave in Bengaluru.
