Startup Events This Week: Pulse42 Mumbai, Kerala Seeding Summit And More

Last week, the IndUS Entrepreneurs (TiE) organised the eleventh edition of TiECon Mumbai on 28th and 29th January, 2020. The event was held at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Nariman Point, Mumbai, on the theme “The Decade of Startups – Kickstarting the Future.”

TiECon Mumbai is TiE’s one of the largest entrepreneurial leadership conclave that takes place annually. TiECon Mumbai 2020 hosted some eminent speakers like former chairman of Tata Sons Ratan Tata, Infosys’ cofounder Narayana Murthy, Manipal Global Education’s chairman Mohandas Pai and founders of unicorns like BookMyShow, Snapdeal and Dream11.

On February 1 and 2, IIT Bombay’s E-Cell organised The Ten Million Minute (TTMM), which is a part of its entrepreneurship summit. In the TTMM event, entrepreneurs got 10 minutes to impress the pool of investors and win INR 16 Lakh. The theme for this year was ‘A Brio Breakthrough’.

UIncept’s iXi Summit 2020

With new technologies, innovation coming into picture, Business environments and consumer demands evolving rapidly. To further amplify the message of creating future-proof businesses, UIncept Accelerator iXi has come up with a new two-day summit. The two-day event plans to bring together the brightest entrepreneurs, investors, mentors and policy-makers under one-roof.

iXi Summit 2020 will be held in UIncept’s HQ in Gurugram from February 5 to 6, 2020. Interested businesses can apply for the summit before January 28.Apply To Attend

Pulse42 By Inc42

Inc42 is hosting another edition of its signature tech party Pulse42 in Mumbai. This relaxing evening will connect the investor community and startups in an informal setting over great food and cocktails. Pulse42 is an no agenda event, which is all about getting conversations going among stakeholders.

The event is supported by annual partners—Times Internet, AWS, Paytm, HSBC and NetApp Excellerator. Pulse42 will be held on February 27, 2020, at Estella, Juhu, Mumbai. For 2020, Inc42 flagged off Pulse42 from India’s startup capital, Bengaluru.

Until last year, Pulse42 was a closed-door event for the attendees, but with the ever-growing community. So far, Inc42 has hosted 11 editions of Pulse42, engaging over 1000 founders, investors and ecosystem enablers.

Seeding Kerala 2020 Summit

The Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) is hosting the fifth edition of its Seeding Kerala Summit to boost the growth of startups in the state. The Seeding Kerala 2020 Summit will organise a special edition of the Investor Cafe. The Invester Cafe will bring 50 leading funds and angel investors on one platform to meet a select Kerala-based startups. The agenda of this is to facilitate fundraising for startups.

The Seeding Kerala 2020 Summit will provide opportunities to pitch startups in front of high networth individuals (HNI), an initial public offering (IPO) panel hosted by Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), a portfolio session with some funded startups and their investors.
