Culminating its local finals in all the nine startup hotspots (cities), IBM Global Entrepreneurship Program, has selected startups from the regional finals, which was held on November 6, 2015 at Bangalore.

Winner of Hyderabad local finals, Meltag’s platform, weaves seamless shopper engagement workflow by providing an omni-channel experience across Text (SMS), Voice (IVR/Missed Call), Twitter, FB, PoS and mobile apps. Meltag helps companies to segment, target and profile consumers by mapping and processing external research data.

Winner of Bangalore local finals, SnapShopr, is a visual technology platform designed for retailers to make searching in online catalogues easier.

Winner of Bangalore local finals, Lightmetrics, is a smartphone-based driver monitoring solution that gives a 360-degree view of driving behaviour by providing visual context to driving data.

GOOSE TECHNOLOGIES INC.

Winner of Hyderabad local finals, GOOSE Technologies, is a labelling and artwork management (LAM) solution provider. It has developed a world-class integrated technology platform for changing Pharma landscape called Harmony that automates entire label and artwork management collaboration process in real time by linking the checklist points directly to the regulatory guidelines, which are used to review regulatory guidelines around content, accuracy of dates and manufacturing details etc.

Medibox Technologies LLP

Winner of Bangalore local finals, Medibox technologies, provides software platform that will allow patients to search for healthcare facilities such as pharmacies, hospitals and blood banks in India. The solution is cloud based with a mobile application that can work on any portable device.

Winner of Chennai local finals, Tagalys, allows online retailers to fully customise their site search, product recommendations, merchandising and product sorting functionalities, along with tag based reporting and analytics to increase revenues.

Winner of Chennai local finals, Appiyo is a private social and computing platform on cloud and mobile for actionable big data, IOT and tasks on mobility devices. It provides ‘Actionable (Structured) Messaging’ to bring about a behavioral change in how one interacts with the computing world using actionable messaging with-in instant messengers.

Whatfix (Quicko Technosoft Labs Pvt Ltd)

Winner of Bangalore local finals, Whatfix, is a cloud platform for creating interactive support FAQs, training material and tutorials, which can be integrated with ease across all touch-points – be it inside applications, blogs, knowledge base, etc.

Worxogo Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

Winner of Bangalore local finals, Worxogo, provides enterprise gamification solutions through enterprise design thinking, behaviour design and persuasive technologies. Its proprietary PersuAct Engine is deployed across areas of sales transformation, supplier transformation and innovation management.

Winner of Bangalore ocal finals, Preksh, offers visual commerce marketplace, a patented (files) technology, that enables consumers to virtually walk-through real-life stores and shop for their favorite products online. The platform helps users to engage with the customers online apart from store brand promotion and driving more footfalls to offline stores.

Parablu Inc.

Winner of Bangalore local finals, Parablu, is a smart cloud security solutions for the digital enterprise that enables privacy, security and control of digital assets in public, private or hybrid clouds. It helps enterprises migrate and manage their data in the cloud securely.

 

The event had morning session wherein startups pitched to a panel of VCs and IBM Execs thereby gaining feedback and an evening session involved presenting to a Panel of CIOs and a larger audience.

IBM Global Entrepreneur Program has successfully concluded its SmartCamp 2015 at all the local final destinations viz Kochi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Vizag, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.

The event has started with its regional finals. The next regional final destination is Delhi and Mumbai.

Later, IBM GEP will culminate a final showdown wherein top six startups will pitch to eminent VCs.

IBM’s SmartCamp 2015 is a startup challenge for B2B startups to help them build, innovate, scale and accelerate via IBM’s global network of enterprise clients, consultants and innovation centres.
