Bangalore and California-based data driven publishing platform for the mobile first world, Quintype Inc, has launched SpeakWrite, an accelerator program for digital media startups.
SpeakWrite is a virtual accelerator program that will provide mentorship, access to Quintype’s state-of-art publisher platform, technology & professional services, access to the publishing ecosystem, and an innovative community for a period of 12-24 months.
The platform will help startups with design services, developing & testing, and help launching their websites and/or apps in the real world. The program will be free of cost in exchange for a 4-9% equity stake in the startup, based on stage of the startup, funding raised, complexity of the early site/app and its business plan etc.
With this, startups will also have access to Quintype’s experienced & qualified team in the publishing and technology space, along with mentors who will have mix of serial entrepreneurship experience, coupled with deep corporate experience and depth in their respective domains to mentor.
The program will work with five startups this year, of which three startups have already been picked. Though the optimum number of startups for the program is not decided yet, but SpeakWrite aims to accelerate at least 15 startups by 2016.

The startups for the program are being selected based on varied factors including market size, team, startup pedigree, previous entrepreneurial experience, potential, funding rounds, affiliation with other incubators and/or accelerators, etc.
How Will The Platform Work?
Quintype’s primary intent is to bootstrap a startup from a technology and market perspective. It aims to provide advanced platform that will help a startup leverage the power of real-time automation, advanced semantic analytics, social media orchestration, hyper personalisation & contextualisation and artificial intelligence.
The SpeakWrite Program will neutralise the advantage that big publishing houses have with their deep pockets, large teams and investments in technology.
Post the launch of website or an app, the platform will provide ongoing expertise and support from an audience distribution, development & engagement perspective, and helping the startup scale. Quintype’s monetisation modules will also assist the publisher in monetising their content and audience to maximize yield through precision targeting of premium ads, ecommerce and affiliate marketing programs.
