OnePlus To Be Exclusively Launched on Amazon

The Chinese tech startup, OnePlus has announced that OnePlus One will be exclusively launched on the Amazon India website which will start from first week of December. Vikas Aggarwal, OnePlus GM of India, in a post said, “Firstly, we are thrilled to confirm that the One will be available for our Indian users in December. We can’t wait to bring your favorite phone to your hands. As all the details have now been perfected and last-mile hurdles have been cleared, the exact launch date will soon be announced in the coming days on our forums.”

Zomato Introduced Ads On Its mobile App

Restaurant search and discovery platform Zomato has now introduced advertisements on its mobile app. With this, now users will be able to see see in-line ads for restaurants contextual to their search and location, appearing on search result pages.

Housing.com partnered with Tata Value Homes

Tata value homes has got into exclusive partnership with Real estate portal Housing.com to sell apartments. Advitiya Sharma said, “This is one of our first partnerships and we will tie-up with other companies too.”

Fork Media launched in the UAE

Fork Media, premium audience network, has made a foray to the international market with the launch of its Dubai operations. After a successful year and half in India, Fork Media, which is a part of Ant Farm, a tech and media innovation company, has announced plans to expand operations to international markets and will look at other emerging digital markets including Singapore and Indonesia.

Amazon India this week launched the Musical Instruments & Professional Audio Store that offers a wide selection of musical instruments, DJ equipment and musical accessories from more than 40 global and local brands.

Simplilearn announced Gerald Jaideep as its new Chief Operating Officer

Online certification destination, Simplilearn has appointed Gerald Jaideep as its new Chief Operating Officer on 10th Nov 2014. Previously Jaideep was associated with a company as a consultant. In his career in a startup sector he has worked for most of his 21 years. He started as an entrepreneur and later founded his own company  called as Quadrant Creations. Simplilearn had hired Prashant Radhakrishnan as Chief Sales Officer which is followed by Jaideep’s hire.

iKaaz partners with Adigas to introduce NFC based closed loop payments

iKaaz has joined hands with a chain of popular traditional South Indian Restaurants- Adigas to introduce NFC based closed loop payments for Adigas’ customers. Under this initiative, NFC Cards/tags are issued to customers mapped to their mobile phones to enable micropayments. Customers can load amounts between INR 100 to INR 10,000 with the annual transaction limit set at INR 1 lakh.
