Flipkart CEO Binny Bansal has consolidated all his businesses under one vertical ‘Flipkart Group’ and has appointed a leadership team to lead these divisions. Under the new arrangement, Kalyan Krishnamurthy and Saikiran Krishnamurthy will run the group’s commerce business. The core team will also include Nitin Seth, Ravi Garikipati, Ananth Narayanan, and Sameer Nigam.
Manvinder Kaur Joins IndustryBuying
B2B ecommerce platform Industrybuying has appointed Manvinder Kaur as Vice President, Human Resource. In her current role, she will lead the human resource of the company and drive the core functions such as talent management, employee engagement, and corporate training at Industrybuying. She has earlier associations with Gap Inc, IndusInd bank and BT Global services. Kaur holds an MBA from the ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad and an undergraduate degree in engineering from the Punjab Technical University.
Former Amazon India Exec Joins LendingKart Group
Former Amazon India and Dubai-based Souq.com executive Vishal Chopra has been appointed as Chief Revenue Officer at LendingKart Group. He comes with a vast experience in the field of business management. An MBA graduate from ISB Hyderabad, Vishal was the first hire for Amazon’s India team that launched Amazon.in and Junglee.com. He led a cross-functional team at Amazon to launch media categories (Books, Movies, Music) and was also helping the third-party marketplace business for media categories. Prior to joining LendingKart Group, Vishal was serving as the Regional Director for Souq.com, the largest ecommerce site in the Arab world.
PayU’s Nihit Nirmal Joins LendingKart Group
Ex-PayU India VP-Products, Nihit Nirmal has been appointed as Senior VP- Products at LendingKart Group. Nihit comes with a rich FinTech experience. Earlier, he was heading Product Management for PayUmoney, the flagship product of PayU India. At Lendingkart Group, he will drive the overall product strategy and will build products for massive adoption. His focus will also be on enabling zero human intervention as he believes this is the only way to scale and tap the true potential for India’s 50 million SMEs.
Paritosh Gunjan Joins mycity4kids As CTO
Paritosh Gunjan has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer of mycity4kids – a content platform for mums. His 
key mandate will be to make mycity4kids a technology-driven company with data-science forming the core of everything – from content creation, campaign management, and content distribution. He has completed his Masters in Software Engineering from BITS, Pilani. Prior to mycity4kids, he worked for more than a decade across diverse companies – Wipro, Samsung, Crayon Data and Flygrades, a startup he co-founded. His experience includes building a recommendation engine, a web browser, a private cloud and a data-driven education platform.
Vamsi Krishna Wuppalapati Joins RentoMojo
Online rental solutions company RentoMojo has appointed Vamsi Krishna Wuppalapati as Vice President-CX. Vamsi is an Entrepreneurial Product Leader and comes with experience in leadership roles in Product Management, IT Business consulting at high growth startups like Lazada, and Fortune MNCs. He is also the founder of Inferatics Consulting Labs’, a product management firm. Vamsi completed his Business Masters at UCD Smurfit Business School from Ireland, specialising in management & strategy. His engineering degree is from V.T.U, Karnataka. At Rentomojo, Vamsi would be handling the strategic initiatives for all customer touch points across Marketing, Product including payments, operations, logistics and customer care/insights. He will also be responsible for building and innovating the product as per global practices.
