Info Edge Appoints Pawan Goyal As Chief Business Officer For Naukri
NSE-listed Info Edge announced the appointment of Pawan Goyal as the Chief Business Officer of Naukri and Naukrigulf.com.
With an industry experience of more than 22 years, Goyal worked with Adobe as the General Manager where he headed the Print, Scan, and TechComm businesses which contributed more than $100Mn in revenue. Pawan Goyal was responsible for Engineering, Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success. Previously in his career he has worked at Microsoft and IBM.
In his new role, Goyal will lead Naukri’s ambitions in new areas such as enterprise recruitment management solutions, artificial intelligence and machine learning based algorithms.
Sanjeev Soni Joins B2Badda To Lead Refurbished Vertical
Delhi-based technology backed e-distribution platform has announced the appointment of Sanjeev Soni to head its new vertical of refurbished products.

Soni brings 23 years of industry experience in Retail, Distribution, ecommerce and omni channel operations management in India, Middle East and North America. Soni holds an extensive experience in scaling organisations like Sunstrike India & Dubai, Supertron, Amconics Hong Kong, Compuage and has worked with broad spectrum of companies from local start-ups to billion dollar global enterprises.
In his new role, Soni will be responsible for driving the complete operations for Refurbished Vertical.
Uber Appoints Manisha Lath Gupta As Marketing Head In India
Global cab hailing giant Uber has announced the appointment of Manisha Lath Gupta as the Head of Marketing for India.
With over two decades of experience, Gupta has experience across consumer goods, banking, ecommerce and fintech. Over the course of her career, she has conceptualised and executed brand campaigns, driven digital performance and has ran a successful startup.
At Uber, she will oversee marketing initiatives for Rides and Eats Business for India South Asia. She will take over from Sanjay Gupta, who will soon move to Uber US and Canada in a new role.
Having completed over 1 billion trips in India and South Asia region in July 2018, Uber plans to continue driving growth by offering more modes and entering more cities this year under the strategic stewardship of a stronger and bigger India leadership team.
Gautam Bansal Joins Shiprocket As Finance Head
Delhi-based logistics platforms Shiprocket has appointed former Shuttl exec and corporate veteran Gautam Bansal as its Head Finance.
Bansal comes with nearly 16 years of corporate finance experience across diverse sectors such as logistics, ecommerce, consulting, banking and FMCG in India and abroad. He has previously been associated with top MNCs and startups including Ernst & Young, Macquarie, InterContinental Hotels Group, and Shuttl.
In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the overall finance function for the company along with driving key strategic business initiatives for the organization especially in the areas of data, machine learning and process automation.
