Soon after the Flipkart-Walmart deal was announced, Flipkart co-founder Sachin Bansal announced his exit from the company. In a Facebook post, Sachin said, “I’ll be taking some long time off and focus on finishing a few personal projects which I haven’t been able to find time for. Will catch up on gaming (and see what kids are playing these days) and brush up on my coding skills.”

Nitin Bawankule Escalated To India Country Head For Google Cloud

Google has escalated Nitin Bawankule as the India country head for Google Cloud.

With nearly two decades of experience in the digital, technology and consumer industry, Bawankule has been Google India for over six years as sales head for multiple verticals including e-commerce, retail, classifieds, and education.

Prior to this, he has been associated with  Dell, Motorola Mobility, Whirlpool and Godrej GE Appliances.

At Google Cloud, Bawankule will take over from Mohit Pande who has quit the company and report to Rick Harshman, Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Google Cloud.

Zivame Appoints Amisha Jain As CEO

Bengaluru-based lingerie company Zivame appointed Amisha Jain as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Amisha Jain comes with more than 16 years of experience, she has a rich experience in leading growth and transformation initiatives for multinational and domestic consumer goods and apparel brands. Prior to Zivame, she was heading the Arvind Sports Lifestyle business and the Digital Center of Excellence for the Arvind group.

She has also worked with Nike, McKinsey and Company, Danaher and Motorola Inc.

At Zivame, Amisha will strengthen Zivame’s efforts in bringing innovative products for Indian woman and furthering growth by intensifying its omnichannel presence.

Quick Heal Technologies Appoints Nitin Kulkarni as Chief Financial Officer

Quick Heal Technologies has appointed Nitin Kulkarni as it Chief Financial Officer post approval of Board of Directors.

A Chartered Accountant by profession, Nitin Kulkarni has more than 25 years of experience of managing different aspects of the finance function in Information Technology and Manufacturing industry.

In his previous roles, Nitin Kulkarni has worked in Financial Planning and Analysis, Corporate Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Treasury, International and Domestic Taxation, Shared Services, Corporate Restructuring, M&A, Compliance etc at various listed Corporate entities like Tech Mahindra, KPIT and Persistent Systems.

As CFO at Quick Heal, he will oversee all the financial aspects of the Company including financial planning and analysis, accounting and financial reporting, Mergers & Acquisitions as well as managing Transactional Processing Systems, Legal, Tax and Investor Relations functions.
