Cloud-based browser testing startup LambdaTest has raised $38 Mn (around INR 322.4 Cr) in an undisclosed funding round led by Avataar Venture Partners, along with participation from Qualcomm Ventures.
With this round, the startup claims to have raked in a total funding of $108 Mn till date.
The company will use the fresh capital to boost its application testing infrastructure for helping brands to enhance their digital footprint.
“We plan to use this funding to advance our products, KaneAI – which is our AI Native QA (Quality Assurance) agent as a Service, Test Cloud, and advanced HyperExecute automation,” the company spokesperson told Inc42.
The investment is further focussed on research and development (R&D) activities, Inc42 has learnt.
“KaneAI is more than a tool—it’s a transformative approach to QA, empowering teams to test smarter and faster, with less manual effort,” said Asad Khan, ceo and cofounder of LambdaTest.
Founded in 2017 by Khan and Jay Singh, LambdaTest is a testing infrastructure startup that allows developers to seamlessly test their websites and apps on any browser or operating system environment.
On securing investment, Khan said, “We are thrilled to have the support of Avataar Ventures and Qualcomm Ventures as we reshape the future of QA.”
The users on the platform can run both manual and automated tests of web and mobile apps on more than 5000 different browsers, real devices, and OS environments, claims LambdaTest.
The startup further claims to have more than 10,000 enterprise customers and over 2 Mn users across 132 countries.
LambdaTest raised $45 Mn in a strategic investment led by Premji Invest in 2022. The startup counts the likes of Sequoia Capital, Blume Ventures, Leo Capital and Entree Capital amongst its investors.
As per the Inc42’s Indian Tech Startup Funding Report Q3 2024, the Indian startups have secured more than $3.4 Bn in funding in the third quarter of 2024. Prior to that, in the first half (H1) of 2024 Indian startup ecosystem attracted a capital inflow worth $5.3 Bn across 504 funding deals.
