Flexible staffing solution provider Instawork has bought Bengaluru-based hiring platform Able Jobs to scale up its global job market with new tools and offerings.

However, the company did not disclose the financial terms of the deal.

With this acquisition, Instawork is looking to use Able Jobs’s product to enhance its own capabilities and build from India for the global market, the company said in a statement.

Able Job’s cofounder Ravish Agrawal will serve as an advisor to Instawork, while his fellow cofounder Siddharth Srivastava will begin as a product leader at the company.

Founded in 2019 by Agrawal, Srivastav and Swatantra Kumar, Able Jobs offers an application for job upskilling and training in sales, support, and marketing fields. The portal has over 1 Mn downloads on Google Play Store, which also offers interview opportunities.

“This acquisition marks an exciting new chapter for Able Jobs. We are thrilled to bring our knowledge and experience to Instawork, helping to build a world-class platform that benefits workers and employers globally,” Agrawal said.

The Bengaluru-based company initially raised $1.8 Mn (over INR 15 Cr) in seed round from SAIF Partners, Y combinator, Titan Capital, Firstcheque and Neeraj Arora for the acceleration of its product growth and expansion of its team.

The entry-level hiring platform has raised more than $2.3 Mn in seed funding from Elevation Capital, Y Combinator, Titan Capital, Mynavi, and angel investors like Neeraj Arora – ex CBO of WhatsApp and Founder of Venture Highway, and Farid Ahsan – Co-Founder of ShareChat.

Meanwhile, Sumir Meghani-led Instawork previously acquired network recruiting platform Drafted in 2021, for an undisclosed deal value.
