Bengaluru-based Happiest Minds Technologies has acquired OSSCube, a US-based digital transformation company.

This move will expand the company’s portfolio of offerings in the consulting-led digital space. The company will also look to establish reach in North America, deepen CMO mindshare, and build critical mass across the digital offerings stack. Happiest Minds currently has operations in the US, UK, The Netherlands, Australia, and Middle East.

Houston-headquartered OSSCube was founded in 2008 by Lavanya Rastogi and Vineet Agarwal. It provides consulting-led digital transformation and modernisation services in the areas of cloud, big data, ecommerce, enterprise mobility, and open source.

The company has operations in North America, Europe, and Asia. It is an exclusive Enterprise Partner for the open source platform Pimcore in North America.

Post acquisition, the 240-member OSSCUbe team will be absorbed into Happiest Minds. Also, OSSCube co-founder Lavanya Rastogi will be the CEO of Happiest Minds’ DTES business.

In January 2017, Aryaka, a global SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network) and cloud computing platform secured $45 Mn in Series D round of funding. The investment, was led by Third Point Ventures and Deutsche Telekom Capital Partners (DTCP), along with the participation of existing investors.

In August 2016, Cloud platform Nutanix acquired Calm.io, an innovator in DevOps automation. It also executed a definitive agreement to acquire US-based PernixData, a scale-out data acceleration and analytics platform. Apart from Happiest Minds other major Indian players in the digital transformation domain include Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, Accenture, IBM, etc.
