Enterprisetech startup Gallabox has raised $1.2 Mn in a seed funding round led by Prime Venture Partners.

100x Entrepreneur Fund and angel investors, including FusionCharts’ Pallav Nadhani, Indus Net Technologies’ Abhishek Rungta, SPI Cinemas’ SV Swaroop Reddy and Everstage’s Siva Rajamani, also participated in the funding round.

Founded in 2021 by Karthik Jagannathan, Yogesh Narayanan, and Yathin Panchanathan, Gallabox is a no-code conversational commerce platform that helps small and medium-sized enterprises manage sales conversions on WhatsApp.

Gallabox claims to be offering its services to over 500 customers, including PVR, ShipRocket, Pickyourtrail, Credit Mantri and GoIreland, in 20 countries.

“Gallabox’s WhatsApp automation with a quick start ready-to-use tool will help business owners focus on their core business while modernising and automating customer conversations to compete with big players on an equal footing,” said Sanjay Swamy, managing partner at Prime Venture Partners.

Gallabox leverages WhatsApp Business APIs to help small and medium-sized businesses improve their sales conversions and offer a mobile experience to their customers without the need for a mobile app.

The startup said it also offers readymade templates to businesses that help them turn customer conversations into sales.

According to a report, India’s enterprisetech segment is pegged at $2.7 Bn in 2022 and this number is expected to rise to $5 Bn by 2027, clocking a CAGR of 13.43% during the period.

The enterprisetech segment has seen a slew of fundraising activities this year. In June, Bengaluru-based startup DAOLens secured $5 Mn in a pre-seed round led by Nexus Venture Partners, Better Ventures and iSeed II.

Prior to that, JIFFY.ai raised $53 Mn in a Series B funding round led by Eight Roads Ventures. Iron Pillar, R-Squared, Nexus Venture Partners, Reaction Capital, and Rebright Partners also participated in the round.

Meanwhile, enterprisetech unicorn Gupshup has acquired four startups – OneDirect, Knowlarity, Active.Ai and AskSid – in 2022 so far.
