HotelsAroundYou – The Mumbai based startup that allows customers to book quality hotel rooms at the last minute, Hotelsaroundyou.com raised undisclosed amount in seed funding led by 10 angels investors associated with Venture Nursery.
Wishberry – Mumbai based crowdfunding platform which aims to help people raise funds for creative and innovative projects, Wishberry, is raising over INR 4 Cr. in a funding round led by Rajan Anandan, MD & VP, Google India and Sharad Sharma, Orbit Change Catalyst and Angel Investor. Out of the total INR 4 Cr, the startup has gotten a commitment of approx INR 1 Cr. from Navyug Mohnot, Deepak Goel, Dinesh Agarwal, Sunil Kalra and others during TIE THE KNOT, the live funding event organized by TiE Delhi at TiEcon 2014.
Priceburp – Mumbai based online coupon startup, Priceburp which offers discount coupons to the shopping freaks online, raised over $100K in a funding round led by Bright Ventures B.V, anearly stage investment company from the Netherlands. The raised funds will be used to facilitate tech development and hire competent workforce in the startup.
People10 – Bangalore-based People 10, a software services startup that provides custom solutions in web, cloud and data analytics secured funding from a group of high-net-worth individuals based out of the US, the funds raised will be used to ramp up its sales and marketing activities in the US.
NoteMyBook – Mumbai based Ecommerce platform NoteMyBook recently received an undisclosed amount in seed funding from Vivekanand Education Society’s Institute of Technology (VESIT). It allows engineering students to buy and sell second hand books. The funds will be used to expand its reach to all engineering colleges.
ObiNo – Mumbai-based ObiNo, a weight loss App raised an undisclosed amount in seed funding from healthcare incubator Healthstart. The funds will be used in team building and upgrading the product.
