Mumbai based FindUrClass, a search and discovery platform which helps students to select extraordinary and hobby classes has raised INR 1.5 Cr. in angel funding led by angels associated with VentureNursery. The round also saw participation of angel investors including Anirudh Damani, Patni brothers Amit and Arihant, and Anand Ladsariya.

The two year old startup founded by Rina Nathani, a former director with audit firm KPMG, will use the funds raised for expanding in metros like Pune and Bengaluru and product development.

“I see a huge market opportunity for FindURClass as they address the pain points of two markets – the class provider and parents,” said Anirudh Damani.

FindURClass is currently redesigning their platform, plans to launch it again by January next year. It allows users to search and shortlist classes based on interest, location, age and price. Further, users can also check out the schedules, pricing, images, descriptions for classes and class providers are provided online. With this, it also provides users with access to reviews and ratings and booking facility for the class online itself.

Currently, the website offers classes across ten categories for kids and for health and fitness training as well. It is also curating the website to provide more details on the class providers, with a target of over 5,000 providers and 50,000 classes.

As of now it allows free listing and going forward the startup plans to add up a subscription fee.

FindURClass was part of VentureNursery’s fifth batch which was announced earlier this year. The other startup HotelsAroundYou, which was also part of this batch recently raised undisclosed amount in seed funding led by 10 angels investors associated with Venture Nursery.

500 Startups backed Tushky also offers similar services.
