Mumbai based ed-tech startup for competitive entrance test preparation, Embibe.com has acquired 100Marks, student guidance platforms for JEE Main, Advanced and Medical, in a cash plus stock deal.

100Marks as a platform helps students in preparing for IIT-JEE use for extensive doubt resolution, it guides students in their self study through gamified adaptive practice and prompt exam news and updates. Developed by IIT and DCE alumuni, Pradeep Kumar and Anushri Kocher, 100Marks got registered by the name of Superedge Technologies Pvt Ltd in 2012. The startup was part of the The Morpheus in their 9th batch.

Backed by Kalaari Capital & Lightbox, Embibe was founded in November 2012 by Aditi Avasthi, it is an education analytics consumer tech startup which  leverages a cross-roads of personalised data analytics and technology to capture exact student weaknesses centered around critical exam performance metrics like speed, accuracy, time management, attempt planning, stamina &  also addresses psychological factor like confidence.
