91springboard Announces Hub 3 In Bengaluru; Houses Up To 900 Members

Three months after it launched a new hub in Mumbai, Delhi-based coworking space 91springboard is launching another hub in startup capital, Bengaluru. This new hub is located right off MG Road and will house over 900 startup entrepreneurs.

The hub, its third hub in the city, is within walking distance from the MG road metro station, was built over a period of 50 days. Coworking plans start from INR 4,999 to INR 7, 999 per person per month. The facilities include Internet, conference rooms, photocopy/print/scan, network with startup community, free or discounted access to events, access to a mentor network etc.

The 921 member, total hub capacity is split between five floors and a terrace for an area of approximately 40K sq.ft. Additionally, the hub contains an events area which can house up to 250 people, a fully functional cafe and a recreation area apart from the work space. The number of startups working at a steady state are expected to be around 300.

The launch will be kickstarted by its trademark event ‘Reverse Pitch’ on January 20, 2017 where prominent investors will be pitching to startups. They will be sharing their operational experience, sector focus, investment thesis, ticket sizes, portfolio and the value propositions that they bring to the table with the entrepreneurs.

The list of investors pitching at the event tomorrow include – Ravishankar G V, Managing Director, Sequoia Capital; Prayank Swroop, Principal, Accel Partner; Rajat Agarwal, Vice President, Matrix Partners; Hiro Mashita, Founder and Director, M&S Partners; Brij Bhasin, Principal, India Investment Lead, Rebright Partners; Parag Dhol, Managing Director of Inventus Capital Partners; Manish Singhal, Founding Partner, pi ventures; Aina Gaur, Investment Manager, Menterra Venture Advisors; Rahul Gupta, Innovation & Growth, TLabs; and Abhishek Surendran, Principal, Exfinity Venture Partners.

91springboard was founded in 2012 by Anuj Pulstya, Pranay Gupta, Varun Chawla, Deepak Sharma, Anand Vemuri, and Susan Lim. It began its operations in Delhi in 2013 and has since grown to seven cities with hubs in Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Navi Mumbai, and Mumbai. Each of the hubs is now a profitable business unit, as claimed by the company.
