100X.VC has announced a new portfolio of 22 startups that it has funded through Class 09. Making the announcement, the VC claimed that it has invested a total of $3.4 Mn in these startups, worked closely with each founding team and mentored them to enhance their products and services.

100X.VC is a sector agnostic fund that operates on a Class-based investment model. Being in Class 09 this year, the VC has shortlisted 709 startups out of 4210 applications. The startups belong to 11 cities of India including Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Pune, Ahmedabad, Noida, Kolkata and more.

The new portfolio was announced during the VC Pitch Day, held in Mumbai on Saturday (June 24 June).  The event was attended by about 400 investors including HNIs, Family Offices, Venture Capital Funds and Corporations. 

Commenting on the new portfolio, Ninad Karpe, Partner, 100X.VC, said, “We are excited to present our latest cohort of 22 startups in Class 09. With these investments, we have now funded 127 startups across various sectors. We believe that there are many disruptive businesses in India in the early stage startup ecosystem and the startups in Class 09 represent such opportunities.”

Formed in 2019, 100X.VC is a SEBI-registered fund led by angel investor Sanjay Mehta’s family office Mehta Ventures. In January this year, the VC announced 25 startups that it shortlisted for the Class 08 cohort. 

Here are brief profiles of the 22 Clas 09 startups:

abCoffee

abCoffee decks offer coffee on-the-go on a plug and play model. Established in 2022 by Abhijeet Anand, the startup claims to offer India’s first tech-enabled, hassle-free coffee takeaway experience, built on efficiency and speed.

Airbook

Founded by Vishal Bajaj and Hoshang Mehta in 2022, is a collaborative data workspace that allows business and data teams to carry out data work together.

Bansiwala

Established in 2022 by Mridu Goel, and Radhika Gawade, the Mumbai-based startup operates in the F&B industry and produces Petha at a large scale for pan-India consumption. 

BreatheESG 

It is a startup in the ESG sector founded by Shaayak Chatterjee and Karantaj Singh in 2022. It enables businesses to track their sustainability performance, identify improvement areas, and foster a culture of responsible business practices. 

ColabTools

Based out of Mumbai, the startup offers SaaS intelligence tools for construction companies. It claims that its AI and ML capabilities automate almost all the analysis and reporting work including material and task planning to generate maximum revenue and help in decision making. 

Curlin

Founded in 2021 by Sumit Karranji, Ahmedabad-based Curlin is a hair care product startup that focuses on products majorly for curly hair. 

Enrico 

Enrico is an eyewear startup founded in 2020 by Kavin Khara that aims to create stylish and functional frames that prioritise eye protection.

Epicure Robotics

Founded in 2022 by Gokulraj K.S and Aditya Mehta, it is a fast casual restaurant chain startup with an in-house robotic kitchen. 

Happi Planet

Founded by Mayank Gupta and Nimeet Dhokai in 2022, the Mumbai-based startup produces home cleaning and laundry products. It claims that all the products are chemical-free and natural.

Pikndel

Founded by Siddharth Batra, Teja Vadlamani, and Tullika Batra, the Delhi-based logistics startup offers shared dark stores & same day delivery services for the ecommerce sector. 

Rannkly 

The startup was founded in 2021 by Vishnu Sharma, Shobhit Singh and Mihir Bhardwaj. It offers social media and reputation management software to its customers.

ReThought 

It is a managed marketplace founded by Rohan Tuteja and Adrija Halder in 2021. Meant for GenZs, it allows them to discover, buy and sell thrift fashion.

Recipeat 

Founded by Adrien Jasserand and Ramvaibhav Kumaran in 2021, the startup is a recruitment SaaS+marketplace for restaurants and hotels to hire 3x faster. 

Ribin 

Established in 2022 by Om Kannamwar, Abhishek Pai Angle and Ashwin Singh Chauhan, the startup is a gifting platform that aims to replace traditional gifts with experience gifts. 

Roopya

Founded in 2016 by Raman Vig and Sudipta Ghosh the startup serves as a B2B business, the startup is a ‘Specified User Fintech’ powering lenders with data, insights and analytics. The startup claims to have 25+ lender partners and operates in an all digital format.

Seek

The Bengaluru-based healthtech startup established by Kshitij Agarwal in 2021, aims to revolutionise the practice of meditation by combining cutting edge technology and best of human coaches from India and SEA.

Spicta 

Established by Jigar Vachharajani and Kavita Yajnik in 2023, Mumbai-based Spicta is a startup in the consumer brand sector that offers oral and dental care products  made with clean ingredients backed by science. 

TRIKL

TRIKL offers smart community management SaaS for communities. By offering enhanced user insights, analysing engagement trends, and generating highly engaging content using Generative-AI models, TRIKL offers AI Powered community management products. 

WomanlikeU 

Founded by Shrijal Dave and Zoheib Jilani in 2022, the Bengaluru-based startup is a consumer brand startup that offers vacationing wear for women guaranteeing a perfect fit for all body types. 

Wyse

The startup is a community-driven collaboration platform for professionals across the globe.

Xetgo 

As a startup in the packaging industry, Xetgo is a managed marketplace for packaging. Founded in 2020 by Vivek Vatsal, Nikhitesh Henrage and Saby Varghese, the B2B startup that claims to have over 100 clients.

Xylem AI 

Founded in 2023, the Bengluru-based B2B SaaS startup, Xylem offers Generative AI-powered search for work apps.
