Post your graduation days, there would have been instances where the air of nostalgia would have gripped you, reminding of the pranks and the fun you must have had with friends. It is during such instances, one wishes to have some memorabilia to make these moments enriching and worth living again? Well, a start-up called Alma Mater is all about that.

Founded in 2009, Alma Mater is an ingenious startup that provides customized sweatshirts and other such goodies for students and alumni of premier schools and colleges in India. Henceforth, you get to preserve and keep those beautiful memories alive via the goodies. Sounds like the Dilip Chapadia (DC) of the customized alumni merchandise, doesn’t it? Well, the credit for the establishment of this startup goes to Two GenNext entrepreneurs, Varun Agarwal and Rohan Malhotra, who themselves wished an alumni sweat-shirt.

Alma Mater has a wide range of memorabilia to offer. They deal in a wide range of goods like t-shirts, sweatshirts, pullovers, bulk custom printed t-shirts, hoodies, and personalized goods. So be it your friends or your favourite teacher you can get a personalized wardrobe/goodie from Alma Mater and gift them.

Since its inception, Alma Mater have done fairly well shipping over 15000 merchandise per month. Alma Mater has successfully tied up with some of the most well-known institutions like IIT Mumbai,BITS Pilani and have evidently benefited from the partnership profitably. Through their exclusive and dedicated service they have gained a lot of popularity among the school & college-going youngsters. They have dealt with over 2500 schools and colleges across 160 different cities in India.

The company has recently launched a very new feature called Play, which allows you to customize Tshirts for your group and share it with friends or members. The best part about the new feature is that it’s nearly a social network for tshirts. You could look for a group that you belong to in the real world or create one, and make a custom tee shirt with Alma Mater’s online editing tool and invite your friends to join.
