The appliance brand utilises the latest programmable intelligent cooking tech to automate cooking and ensure quick turnaround
The Origin Story
Murugun Dhandapani and Prathap A. were concerned about their working spouses spending a lot of time in the kitchen, as outdated appliances took hours to prepare complicated Indian dishes. On average, Indian women spend nearly five hours a day cooking and cleaning, amounting to almost 10 years of their lifespan. However, the duo came across smart electric pressure cookers widely used in American households for automated, fast and hassle-free cooking. Due to their expertise in engineering and management, Dhandapani and Prathap felt equipped to bring tech innovations to Indian kitchens. So, they tested and customised these appliances for Indian recipes and proportions and finally launched Geek RoboCook, a range of smart electric pressure cookers.
The Differentiator
Geek Technology makes smart electric pressure cookers that support 1K+ Indian recipes via an app. It also builds large-capacity air fryers-cum-OTGs, rechargeable desktop/tabletop fans and other home appliances. Its kitchen appliances utilise the latest programmable intelligent cooking technology to automate cooking and ensure quick turnaround. Again, its air fryer range uses 85% less fat/oil, thus helping with healthy cooking. All Geek products are designed by in-house experts in consultation with global professionals, manufactured at overseas contract manufacturing units and undergo extensive testing and product trials. Each product comes with a replacement warranty and doorstep delivery is free.
