Motorola’s much awaited Moto G smartphones have been launched in India. Motorola has claimed that the Moto G will offer the same experience as a flagship phone at a third of the price. The features and initial impression support their claim, but only time will tell if  this is true.

Design:Has a premium touch because of the great Form Factor. It also has stylish plastic chassis which come in a variety of colours.

Waterproof body: Comes with a  special nano-coating to prevent water from causing an damage to the phone. Also the coating is not just on the exterior but it is also included in the interiors of the phone.

Battery Life: The MotoG comes with a  2,070mAh battery which would last up to 24 hours on medium usage.

Operating System: Gives an almost Stock Android Experience, with just minor tweaks.It will initially come out with 4.3 Jelly Bean,but Motorola has assured update to KitKat 4.4 soon.

Camera: Both cameras perform well, especially when you consider the price of the phone. It allows you to  shoot in burst, panorama and HDR modes. Video can be shot in 720p HD quality

Price: The biggest plus point is the affordability .8GB Variant is priced at 12,499 INR while the 16GB variant at 13,999INR

Final Verdict

If your current Smartphone has conked out on you or if you are looking to buy a new Smartphone that is not too heavy on the pocket, the MotoG is a good Choice
