All companies nowadays have to “be social”. But what does being social mean? Does it mean regularly updating the company’s Twitter feed? Does it mean replying to Facebook notifications? No! That makes you boring. Having a strong social media presence is important, but treating your customers as people is even more important. As children, we exchanged stories and tried to solve people’s problems. Now, we have to stop being such boring adults. Here are the reasons that “being social” means so much more than being active on social media channels.
