Digital Content Provider YAAP Acquires FFC Information Solution

Digital content service provider YAAP has acquired digital marketing solutions provider FFC Information Solution Pvt. Ltd for an undisclosed amount.

With the acquisition YAAP aims to strengthen its position as a specialised content creator while focussing on three major services, including content design, discovery, and distribution. As per the terms of the deal, Seeraj Katoch, founder, FFC will join YAAP’s senior management team as a partner.

Founded in 2011 by Seeraj Katoch, FFC offers marketing solutions to its users, in terms of delivering quality brand experiences and creating the hype around user’s products by producing branded content. It also plans to launch its tech platform that the company claims will enable brands and influencers to engage with each other.

As per an official statement, FFC works with brands like Microsoft, Dow Jones, Reed Elsevier, Sify, Tata Group, Casio, Asus, and Reliance Digital amongst others.

Commenting on the acquisition, Seeraj Katoch, founder, FFC Information Solution said, “Content is critical to the success of any brand today and we utilise it to reach, convert and engage relevant target audiences. Now, as part of YAAP we will further bolster our service line and reach out to newer markets across Asia.”

Mumbai-based YAAP was founded by digital media professionals, Nikhil Bapat and Manan Kapur. It focusses on branded content, digital show formats, syndication, brand and visual identity; offers organised influencer research and outreach. It also looks at programmatic content placement, alliances, and channel partnerships.

In July this year, it raised $5 Mn funding from Rainmaker Ventures. Earlier last month, it acquired Brand Planet Consultants for $3 Mn (INR 20 Cr) in an all-cash deal.
