Silverpush, Travelkhana & SuVitas Emerged As Winners Of TiE-Lumis Entrepreneurial Excellence Award, 2015

The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) partnered with Lumis Partners, organised TiE Lumis Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards to uncover some of the most innovative, sustainable and high potential companies.

Startups who were honored with the TiE Lumis Excellence Award – held at the annual TiEcon Delhi, 2015, today are:

• Silverpush: Silverpush is a target advertising startup which uses its mobile app product and helps business owners who experience from post-download dormancy & abandoned transactions.
• Travelkhana: TravelKhana is an online meal-booking platform for train passengers. It connects the train passenger to the food caterers in Indian railway network.
• SuVitas Holistic Healthcare: SuVitas serves patients who have undergone treatment for serious ailments across neurology, cardiology, orthopedics and early stage oncology and are not completely recovered to go home.

Chaayos, NowFloats, and LoudCell were among the finalists.

The jury evaluated the entries on the basis of the applicant’s’ understanding of the market with regards to product placement, differentiators, value proposition and social impact.

The jury included well known personalities like Pramod Bhasin, non-executive vice chairman & former president & CEO at Genpact; Saurabh Srivastava, chairman emeritus, TiE Delhi-NCR; Pradeep Gupta, chairman & MD, CyberMedia; Rohitash Mal, chairman & MD, EM3 Agro services Pvt. Ltd; Sandeep Sinha, managing partner Lumis Partners; Padmaja Ruparel, president, Indian Angel Network among others.

Besides, the Excellence awards had Gautam Puri, MD, CL Educate; Mahendra Swarup – MD, Avigo Capital and Raman Roy, chairman & MD, Quattro as its Grand jury.

TiE Delhi-NCR & Lumis Partners instituted the Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards in 2008 with an aim to recognize outstanding young companies that have the potential to transform into world leading organizations in the near future.

The idea was to create a platform that will seek to promote such companies by combining TiE network and mentoring support with Lumis Partners’ acumen in providing access to funding and board level coaching.
