Bengaluru-based UrbanPiper, a SaaS platform that enables hyperlocal businesses go online has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Axilor. A group of angels have also contributed to this round, including Ram Yalamanchili, a Silicon Valley angel investor.

The startup will use the funding to enhance its offering and scale its client base.
Founded in 2015 by Saurabh Gupta and Anirban Majumdar, UrbanPiper is a B2B SaaS platform for hyperlocal businesses to go online. It offers white label mobile apps and website to enable commerce, loyalty, wallet and feedback along with a CRM.
UrbanPiper is a part of Nasscom 10K Warehouse, it offers a host of services like white-label mobile apps, website, in-store engagement tools and a powerful CRM under one roof. It is currently working with brands like Chili’s India, Papa John’s India, Jubilant Fresh, Chai Point and Mamagoto to power their online and mobile transactions.
Investor Axilor is a platform for supporting early stage entrepreneurs. Through its programs which include Accelerator, Scale-up and Early Stage Funding, Axilor Ventures supports early stage entrepreneurs improve their odds of success. In April 2016, Bengaluru-based foodtech startup Petoo raised $1 Mn from Axilor Ventures and some HNIs. In November 2016, Bot protection startup InfiSecure secured $600K in its Seed round of funding from IDG Ventures and Axilor Ventures.
