Times of India Group’s digital wing, Times Internet has acquired ViralShots, a Gurgaon-based micro content mobile app for an undisclosed amount. Founded by Shalini Tewari and Kumar Apurva, ViralShots, curates stories from over 300 social and web destinations and as per the company, it clocks approximately 100 Mn screen views per month.

We found the format and curated content of ViralShots very addictive and their engagement with users was amazing and feel confident that this can become the number 1 app in its category.”
