Times Internet Ltd (TIL) acquired Get Me A Shop, a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) small business enablement platform for an undisclosed amount.
After the acquisition, Get Me A Shop will continue to operate as a separate entity. However, TIL will be benefitted in terms of enhancing its offerings across different verticals.
Incepted in 2014, Get Me A Shop is a platform where users can develop platforms and solutions to sell their products online, without having any prior technical knowledge. It helps SMBs to completely manage their ecommerce business by establishing an online store, creating a website and mobile app and managing customers, inventory, and catalogue.
Apart from establishing businesses online, the startup also helps to manage business metrics, information, built-in analytics, marketing campaigns, social accounts and customer engagement.
The platform has also enabled businesses and individuals such as designers, retailers, and restaurants set up an online store with the ability to enable online payments and on-demand logistic services. With its quick real-time service, the startup has impacted over 1,800 businesses till date.

With TIL’s association with Get Me A Shop, the platform will be able to get more SMB businesses online.
Abhishek Gupta, Head of TLabs, added that they had been observing the growth of this startup since it was a part of TLabs’ 4th batch. There is a lot of synergy between TIL and GMAS.
