Former Group-COO of Network 18, Alok Agrawal and Applyifi founder, Prajakt Raut have launched a new platform The Growth Labs to provide advice and assistance to emerging startups. The platform has a group of experienced and successful CXOs from different industries to mentor the startups.

Talking about the platform, Prajakt Raut, Founding Partner, The Growth Labs (TGL) said, “A number of emerging companies, who have scaled up to a level quite rapidly, now need to put together plans, processes, systems, people, infrastructure, sales & distribution and revenue engines to scale to the next level. However, they struggle to cope with this rapid change and need expertise to manage this transformation. Often, they need capital infusion to support this growth. And to attract growth capital, the business needs to get to a different level of maturity than it currently is.”

TGL’s panel of experts’ experience is across business functions – business strategy, sales & marketing, distribution, supply chain, technology & product design, global expansion, brand building, fund raising.

The panel includes Sunder Rajan (Ex-MD of Sona Koyo Steering); Subinder Khurana (Past President MarketRx India);  Vivek Rathi (Ex-Wrigley’s India Leadership Team); Sambit Chakraborty (Strategy, Sales and Supply Chain expert); Kanwal Kishore (Ex-Director – Supply Chain, Wrigley’s); Mohit Chobey (Ex-Head of Sales at Lemon Tree Hotels and Head of Direct Distribution at Bharti Axa Life Insurance); Nilanjana Paul ( Executive Coach to CXOs) and Thomas Abraham (Ex-CEO Walter Kulwer and SAGE). TGL is in the process of adding more experts in the next few weeks.

TGL will provide a comprehensive Growth Plan and Implementation Roadmap on the opportunities for the company, and then provide holistic assistance in implementing the plan for accelerated growth. It will specifically offer strategy & implementation assistance across five practices: technology enablement; process optimisation; branding, marketing & sales programmes; supply chain & logistics and human resources management.
