Mumbai-based, mobile-enabled real estate solutions provider, Sunday Realty Solutions has raised more than $780K (INR 5 Cr) in early-stage funding from a group of investors including Ramesh Jogani and Shailesh Viswanathan, co-founders of IPAL Fund Managers and Jay Srinivasan, former head of Global Strategy at Dell.
According to company’s Founder and CEO, Joseph George, the newly raised funds will be used for marketing, product enhancement and expanding its presence across 10 more cities. The startup is presently operational in two cities viz Mumbai and Pune.
Started this year, Sunday Realty is a business platform exclusively for real estate agents or brokers that allow agents to create their own business networks and close deals in a short timeframe. The platform, which is available as a mobile App and as a website provides unique features like developing a personalised website and a customer relationship management (CRM) to the agents. The startup claims to have more than 20,000 agents with close to 10,000 websites created.
Sunday Realty operates SmartAgent Connect, an App for real estate brokers, which integrates real estate agents, developers and customers.
At present the platform has over 75 builders integrated in Mumbai and Pune that allows builders to connect with agents.
Joseph said that with SmartAgent connect the company is enabling agents to leverage technology to exchange information seamlessly, collaborate the properties and transact with customers. He added, “We are committed to changing the way agents are perceived and experienced by customers.”
According to industry experts, with over five lakh agents, the unorganised sector of real estate is estimated to generate revenues close to $5 Bn annually.
