Hyderabad-based Stockroom.io, a curated platform for developers has raised an undisclosed amount of funding in Pre-Series A round from Satya D Sinha and Gyanendra Singh, the founders of MANCER Consulting.

With the newly raised funds, the team further plans to focus on building a SaaS platform based on candidate recommendation system and predictive analytics. Earlier, in September 2015, Stockroom had raised $70K.

“In the current times, there aren’t many platforms that offer curated talent to the companies at such a widened scale, particularly, in the area of lateral hiring. Stockroom has been successful in providing top level and selectively curated talent to companies like Amazon, ThoughtWorks, Microsoft etc. With our investment in place, Stockroom will be able to scale faster, expand its offerings to Captives, Start-ups etc,” said Satya D Sinha, CEO of Mancer consulting.

Stockroom was founded in 2015 by Naren Krishna (COO and Head of growth and partnerships), Hari Krishna (CEO and Head of Business), and Ashish Kumar Sahoo (CTO, Head of Engineering). Puru Modani, who is a part of Mumbai Angels screening committee and a seasoned angel investor, is part of Stockroom’s advisory board.

The platform provides technical assessment platforms for companies and helps companies filter programmers through its technical assessment platform and hackathons.

As shared by Naren, the growth has been completely organic till date and going forward, it will be aggressively working on their marketing strategy. The team aims to onboard more users as well as companies on the platform, also targeting partnership with other complimentary online platforms.

Ashish further added, “This association is really exciting for us, as it will help our SaaS platform in terms of scale and growth. We have recently launched CodeAssessment & CodeView for making remote interviews easy and hassle free. Both of them are getting a good response from companies for their design and easiness. We are also working on a platform to solve recruitment problems using data science.”

The startup currently works with around 35 clients having likes of Amazon, Thoughtworks, Microsoft, UrbanClap, Go-Jek, BankBazaar. The founders also boast of having hosted more than 100+ hiring challenges till date.

The company also recently launched its flagship diversity event HackerInHer, an exclusive career fair and confluence platform for women. Microsoft, IndusTowers, BankBazaar, Infosys, and ThoughtWorks are a few names counted as the participating companies in the event.

Going forward, the company believes that 2017 is going to be a year of exponential growth. “With the latest funding round, we plan to make our tech platform more robust and move faster on the Predictive Analytics platform. We are planning to release the beta version of Analytics Platform by August 2017,” said Hari Krishna.
