Snapdeal Unveils Professional Services Panel For Its Seller Community

Ecommerce marketplace Snapdeal has announced the launch of ‘Professional Services Panel’ on its site to strengthen ecosystem for sellers.

The panel will provide an instant access to services like tax registration, photography, cataloguing, business consulting and outsourcing support from verified service providers to Snapdeal sellers. The sellers will also be able to shortlist service providers on the basis of location, price range and rating, and later rate them on a scale of 1 to 5.

To ensure authenticity and quality of services, Snapdeal will pre-screen all the listed vendors. Presently, Snapdeal claims to have 900 service providers listed on the Professional Services platform from all across the country.

This new panel will enable small and medium sized sellers to grow their businesses by accessing professional services like photography, cataloguing, etc. with easy price-quality comparison. We are confident that the services panel will lead to more sellers joining our platform, making the process of selling online absolutely hassle free.”

In October this year, Amazon infused $190 Mn (INR 1,237 Cr) into Amazon Seller Services in order to support its seller capability in the country.
